TROC

Adam, a bachelor in his forties and eternal teenager, has just a few days to save his cultural cafe, a non-profit, cheerful meeting place for fellow creatives... and his raison d'être. His mission is complicated by the discovery of a super-powered smartphone, the Hyperphone, coveted by many including Anna, a star journalist, and Adam’s opposite in every way. Could this unlikely couple join forces against all odds?
Cécile Rist
Cécile Rist graduated in drama from ESAD in Paris and LISA in London, and enjoyed a rapid start to her career in France and the UK.
In 2003, she turned to directing and writing and founded the BordCadre company with Guillaume Tobo. In twenty years, she has directed some thirty amateur shows and a dozen professional productions - Pinter, Marivaux, Feydeau, Koltès, etc. - as well as her own texts.
Most recently, she staged a critically acclaimed solo by Koltès, a vaudeville by Feydeau and, in March 2024, created her 3rd text, L'HÉLIPCE, a 5-hour play with 11 actors.
Cécile Rist has always had a passion for film, and is developing several projects, including TROC.
Guillaume Tobo
Guillaume Tobo has had an eclectic career in France and the UK. Actor, scriptwriter, producer, teacher and experimenter, he has produced, acted, written, directed and led a research laboratory at the Odéon-Théâtre de l'Europe.
In the theatre, he has produced some fifteen plays and managed several companies.
In film, he crossed paths with Humbert Balsan at Ognon Pictures before producing several short films with Connectic Studio, Andrew Steggall's first feature film and co-producing Éric Cherrière's second film. He has also written several shorts and features - including TROC.
