Connectic Studio
Connectic Studio was founded in 2010 and has produced Andrew Steggall's DEPARTURE and co-produced Eric Cherrière's NI DIEUX NI MAITRES.
After taking a break for a few years, Connectic Studio remains loyal to its directors for their current projects and is also developing short films and first features.
Connectic Studio is made up of three passionate producers with complementary areas of expertise who share a strong desire to create auteur films that reach a wide audience.
An established theatre actor and producer, GUILLAUME TOBO wrote, produced and starred in Jérémie Leloup's three short films, GANGUE, LE LOUP and LES CHIENS.
Steeped in Anglo-Saxon culture and after spending several years in London, he met Andrew Steggall, also a theatre-maker, who had already directed several short films. Guillaume decided to produce his first feature film, DEPARTURE.
In 2016, Guillaume Tobo met Éric Cherrière and brought his 2nd film to the Atelier de la Cinéfondation at the Cannes Film Festival, NI DIEUX NI MAITRES. He handed over executive production of the film to Ran Entertainement and continued being involved as an actor and coproducer.
He then returned to theatre before reviving Connectic Studio at the end of 2022.
After studying cinema, PASCALE FURBEYRE spent 7 years at UGC/Studiocanal in TV rights sales (catalogue increased from 500 to 5,000 titles) and international film distribution.
She then moved to the United States and obtained an MBA from Columbia Business School while helping the producer Joyce Pierpoline (PIERPOLINE FILMS) on various projects. Attracted by entrepreneurship and innovation, she was convinced that films will invade Internet channels.
She pursued a career in marketing management for digital start-ups and fast-growing companies for 20 years before launching a start-up.
Caught up by her passion for cinema, she decided to join Connectic Studio, which she took over managing in 2023.
DAMIEN GREGOIRE has worked in the production of live shows (theatre, music, new circus) in France and abroad. He then became production manager and executive producer for cinema and television.
He has directed the production of numerous feature films, including JEUNE FEMME (2017) by Léonor Serraille (Caméra d'Or, Cannes 2017), NI DIEUX NI MAITRES (2019) by Eric Cherrière, GARCON CHIFFON (2020) by Nicolas Maury, HARKA (2022) by Lotfy Nathan (Un Certain regard, Cannes 2022), LE GOUT ET LES COULEURS (2022) by Michel Leclerc, SOUS LE TAPIS (2023) by Camille Japy, LA VOIE ROYALE (2023) by Frédéric Mermoud and PAR AMOUR (2024) by Élise Otzenberger.
